What is your service area?
Services are currently available in the greater Seattle area including King and Snohomish counties.
Is there a minimum number of visits required each week?
No. The schedule for care should meet your unique needs, and you can schedule caregiving visits to occur as often as you'd like.
Is there a time limit to a caregiving visit?
Each caregiving visit has a 1 hour minimum and a 4 hour maximum. After the first hour, the caregiving visit is billed in 5 minute increments.
Do you provide hospice care?
No. We do not offer hospice caregiving services.
Does Family Grace Care have a religious affiliation?
No. Family Grace Care does not have an religious affiliation, and will not exclude or deny services to any person on the basis of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation or national origin.

DEFINITIONS: COMMONLY USED TERMS & HEALTHCARE CERTIFICATIONS FREQUENTLY REFERENCED:
- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Routine activities people tend do everyday without needing assistance, such as eating, one-to-one feeding*, bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring. This includes one-on-one feeding, where one caregiver is present throughout the meal to help with eating. *A single, dedicated caregiver is present throughout the meal to provide help eating.
- Dementia Specialty Care: Certification that ensures specific knowledge of the similarities and differences between numerous forms of dementia.
The specific dementias included in this certification are: AIDS related dementia, Alzheimer's Disease (AD), Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), Down's Syndrome related dementia, Huntington's Disease (HD), Korsakoff's Syndrome aka Wernicke's disease, Lewy Body dementia, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) related dementia, Parkinson's dementia, Pick's disease, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and Vascular dementia. - Nurse Delegation: A licensed Registered Nurse (RN), who is familiar with the medical history and current plan of care provides training and transfers the performance of the specific ongoing task to a certified nursing assistant.
Examples of nurse delegated tasks include administration of medications, non-sterile dressing changes, urinary catheter care, gastronomy feedings, portacath hydration infusion, blood glucose monitoring and ostomy care. - Restorative Nursing Assistance: Assisting with exercises and skills prescribed by the Physical or Occupational Therapist. The goal of restorative nursing assistance is to increase strength and mobility, particularly after an injury, fall or stroke, or to maintain strength with the progressive physical changes associated with diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).
